KENYA - MIGRATION & BIG CAT SAFARI
9 Days, 8 Nights

We begin this adventure in Nairobi, with an overnight and recharge. Early the next morning, we transfer to the domestic air terminal for charter to the Mara Reserve. This one hour flight takes us over the Mara from East to West and puts us in the heart of the migration route. We also limit the number of guests per vehicle, with our private drivers, for more room to accommodate our most serious photographers.

We spend time in both a lodge, high atop the mountains on one side of the Mara River and also at a Deluxe tented camp on the opposite. This gives us the best odds of catching a “crossing” of the great migration, with Zebras, Wildebeest, Hippos, Crocodiles and all the drama. We usually go on early morning and late afternoon game drives, but sometimes spend the entire day afield, having lunch and snacks under an acacia tree or near the river.

It’s not just the Wildebeest we’re after. The migration also brings in the predators. This is a great time for lions, cheetahs, leopard, hyaena and even possibility for wild dog. The service is exceptional and of course chef-prepared meals and a compliment of full bar is also available to our guests.
